California-Lagos Business & Investment Summit

Afretrade, in collaboration with the Lagos State Diaspora Office, the California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA), BAY Area Council, NIED Group, and the US Diaspora United Chamber of Commerce, presents the California–Lagos Business & Investment Summit 2026, a landmark one-day gathering in California's capital city dedicated to building the California–Nigeria business bridge. Taking place on September 17, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, the event unites CEOs, SMEs, investors, and African and African-descent business leaders and entrepreneurs for a morning of high-level dialogue, capital raising, and business matchmaking, headlined by keynote addresses from His Excellency the Governor of Lagos State, Special Guest of Honour, and Toks Omishakin, California Secretary of Transportation. The day's crowning moment is an official Sister State legislation Ceremony at the historic Stanford Mansion, held in the presence of the Governor of the State of California and the Governor of Lagos State, before the evening concludes with an elegant black-tie Gala Dinner.
